Golf Instruction Tips - How to Play From Uneven Lies

During the course of a round of golf it is more than likely that you will face at least one situation where the ball is not on flat ground in relation to where you need to stand, an uneven lie. This golf instruction tip will focus on what we need to do to still make good contact under those conditions.

There are four different situations that constitute an uneven lie, they are :

#1. Uphill lie

#2. Downhill Lie

# 3 Ball above your feet

# 4 ball under your feet

Sometimes there is confusion between # 1 and # 2 and # 3 and # 4. Please note, these are different situations and must be treated separately.

Golf Lessons Tips

# 1 The tendency of this lie to hit the shot fat, so initially a less Loft Club, the ball flies higher and shorter from here. Second stageball slightly forward in the stance. Thirdly make sure your shoulders are parallel to the lie of the ground.

#2. Usually a top or thin shot from here. Pretty much the opposite to #1. For the cure. The ball will fly low from here so take more loft. Second make sure the shoulders are parallel to the ground (front shoulder lower). Move the ball slightly back.

#3. Again a fat shot when you get it wrong. Make sure you stand taller than you would normally set-up. Do not bend your knees. This is probably the most important point. The club with more to do with this fight shot swing, not to leave him alone. Also notice the ball flying is so safe to be left a bit 'towards the right target.

Stem # May 4 to take a top, a touch or feared. First address the right is really important. Make sure you bend your knees and keep them that way, bend more than usual out of life. I do not mean that you can notOverdo this, but close. The club is much more up and down or vertically with the swing shot, do not fight back, let it happen. Also be aware that the ball flies to the right, left end.

To have read these lessons and golf tips to have a wealth of information in your arsenal, the rest is up to you. Go practice.
